The Stolen musical band from New Jersey
Cleveland photographers stepped into the music scene to watch hot new band, The Stolen perform in Kent, OH.
Comprised of four talented musicians from Old Bridge, NJ, The Stolen is a Pop Rock/Alternative group with a sound that has been compared to The 1975 and The Maine. The Stolen features vocalist Dom Cuse, guitarist/vocalist Rob Chiarappa, bass guitarist Kevin Smart, and drummer Mike Chiarappa.
The band came together in New Jersey in 2005, performing covers of some of their favorite songs from groups such as AC/DC and Green Day. The band reinvented these songs by adding their own unique twist to the melodies. They began writing their own music in 2009. Following that, they toured as the opening act for Neon Trees and the All-American Rejects, which built up their fan base on a more national level.
The band has worked with many revered talents in the music industry. Their song “Chardonnay,” released in 2015, was produced by Paul Leavitt of All Time Low. The Stolen guitarist Rob Chiarappa teamed up with Mike Oettinger of Man Overboard to produce the I’m So Dead album and Grammy-nominated Mastering engineer Robin Schmidt, of The 1975 and Mumford & Sons, mastered the album.
Cleveland band photographers captured The Stolen in action when they came through the Ohio area this past summer for their first tour as headliners. The band’s “I’m So Dead” tour featured “The Voice” contestant Mike Schiavo and Marissa Viscomi. The tour featured a surprise performance in Philadelphia. The band invited many local Philadelphia bands to perform.
The Stolen is coming back to the Cleveland area this November on a fall tour with The Millennium, 4 Door Theatre, and Bonfires. The band will be performing at The Foundry in Lakewood on November 6th, 2017 at 6pm. Cleveland photographers will be there to capture the energetic performance and crowd excitement of the concert.
Looks like no Cleveland stops this year, too bad.
